Join us for an afternoon with Debra Marquart on Zoom while enjoying tea and treats.

 

Tickets

Tickets are available now for $20 at the Welcome Desk or online at https://bit.ly/AuthorCafeOnline. (Students receive a $10 discount.) Tickets sold for the original event date (3/29/2020) will be honored.

 

Registrants will receive the Zoom link the day prior to the event. Recipes for savones and scones, along with information to procure tea boxes from Little Woods Herbs and Teas on Main Street, will be e-mailed in advance. There will also be opportunities to "showcase your tea service!"

Debra Marquart, Iowa’s fourth Poet Laureate, is the author of six books including, Small Buried Things and The Horizontal World. Her work has been featured on the BBC, Morning Edition, The Writer’s Almanac, and On Point

Marquart is the recipient of numerous literary awards including an NEA Fellowship and a PEN USA Nonfiction Award and is a Distinguished Professor of English in the MFA Program in Creative Writing and Environment at Iowa State University.
