Central Iowa Norwegians

Speaker: Arlen Twedt

Arlen Twedt,author of The Central Iowa Norwegians, will be interviewed by his editor (and wife!), Asta. They will discuss how he got started writing, why he decided to self-publish, and why it took so long to complete his book. All of Arlen’s ancestors were Norwegian immigrants who settled on farms near Roland. Arlen began learning their stories and the general history of the Central Iowa Norwegians. After completing the family history, Arlen continued to research the history of the Norwegian settlements.
